This plate was made on the potters wheel using porcelain clay. Once it was leather-hard, it was trimmed, the sides were carved and then it was bisque-fired. Then it was glazed over in a clear glaze and fired once more to this finished product.

These piece are made with lead-free glazes that are food, dishwasher and microwave safe, although handwashing is always recommended.
