Open Studio: Pottery Wheel Reservation

Already know your way around the wheel?  Book a spot and throw at your own pace.  This is independent studio time, so no instruction is included.

$25 per person.  Here's what's included:

• 1 hour of wheel time
• 1 lb of clay (need more? click here for options)
• A return visit to trim and glaze your piece up to 60 mins.
• All firings

How it works

1. Throw. Spend your hour on the wheel. When you're done, your piece goes on our keep wet cart so it stays workable.
2. Come back to trim and glaze. Book your return visit with staff before you leave. You'll trim your piece and decorate it with our Stroke & Coat glazes.
3. We fire it. Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in about 2-3 weeks.

Want more glaze options?
Skip the Stroke & Coat step and come back after your piece has been bisque fired instead.  A 2 hour glaze session is $15 and gives you access to every glaze in the studio.

Who can book
Ages 9 to adult. Kids 9 to 12 need a parent or guardian with them (no charge if they aren't working with clay).

Prior wheel experience is required.  New to the wheel? Start with a Try It Session or 4-8 Week Wheel Class instead.
