This bowl was thrown on the wheel and once dry enough, it was trimmed the design on the side was carefully carved into the piece. Afterwards, the handle and the rose were formed and attached. Once it was bone dried, it was bisque fired. Then it was glazed, and fired again. Then the gold luster was added and fired once more to this finished product.
