This mug was made by throwing 2 separate mugs on the potters wheel using speckled stoneware clay. The inside mug was trimmed soon after throwing and attached inside the other form. Once the mug was dry enough, it was trimmed and the handle was attached. Then the flower design was planned and then carefully pierced through. Then it was smoothed and left to slowly dry completely. The piece was then bisque-fired, glazed and fired again to this finished product.
