This mug was made on the potters wheel using porcelain clay. Once it was leather-hard, it was trimmed, a handle was added and then it was bisque-fired. The dragonflies and quote were hand-painted with underglaze, and then once dry, it was glazed (clear over the underglaze painting and a blue-green color on the top and side) and then it was fired once more to this finished product.

These piece are made with lead-free glazes that are food, dishwasher and microwave safe, although handwashing is always recommended.
