Community Open Studio Reservations

We’re open to the local community during select hours each week, offering a perfect opportunity to explore working with clay.

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are highly encouraged!  To reserve a space, simply choose the activity you’d like to join below.

Community Wheel Open Studio (first visit) is $25 per hour for each person working with clay and includes 1 lb of clay and all firings (see below for additional clay prices).  This includes time to come back a few days later to trim your piece.  At that time, you can pick from 5 glazes and have staff glaze your pieces for you, or you can schedule a second visit to glaze your own piece ($15 for 2 hours of glazing time).

Community Handbuilding Open Studio (first visit) is $25 for 2 hours per person and includes 1 lb of clay and all firings (see below for additional clay prices). In this time, you can also use Mayco Stroke and Coat glazes to glaze your pieces, or schedule a second visit to glaze your pieces ($15 for 2 hours of glaze time).

Glazing Open Studio (second visit) is $15 for 2 hours and includes 30 extra minutes for set-up and clean-up. If you’re accompanying a child just to assist, there’s no fee for your time.
