3 Week Surface Decorating

Thursdays, August 13th, 20th + 27th, 5:30pm - 8:00pm

This three week workshop will cover various surface treatment techniques at both the leather hard and bisque stage. 

Class Schedule

August 13th Week 1: Sgraffito + Sculpting (1 - 3 leather hard pieces )

August 20th Week 2: Water etching (1 - 3 slightly past leather hard pieces)

August 27th Week 3: Inlay + Watercolor (1 - 3 bisque pieces)

What members should bring:

• Leather hard and/or bisque piece to practice each  techniques.
• Optional: Bisque fired test tiles (or pots you don’t mind testing on)
• Optional:(If any) personal underglazes or stroke n coat that you would like to practice with.
• Optional: notebook to take notes.
